ISUF is the international organization of urban form for researchers and practitioners. It was inaugurated in 1994, bringing together urban morphologists worldwide. It seeks to advance research and practice in fields concerned with the built environment. Members are drawn from several disciplines, including architecture, geography, history, sociology and town planning.

ISUF organizes conferences, publishes the journal Urban Morphology and provides an international framework for communication between members.

ISUF 2013 (the 20th International Seminar on Urban Form) will take place on 17-20 July 2013 in Brisbane, Australia. The general theme of the conference is ‘Urban form at the edge’. Further information can be found on the conference website.

Urban Morphology volume 17.1 (April 2013) is now available for institutional subscribers in journal online. Volume 17.2 of the journal will be published in October.
